October 3rd, 2016 - Quintet Attacca

       Long-time CCM friends, Quintet Attacca will delight audiences with a varied program of wind quintet music. "Music from the Americas" will include Eric Ewazen's evocative Roaring Fork (inspired by the mountains and rivers of Colorado), Arturo Marquez's Danza de Mediodia (a Mexican mid-day dance), Piazzolla's sensuous Oblivion, and Paquito D'Rivera's Wapango (a Cuban dance).

FREE First Monday Concerts

The Chicago Chamber Musicians began performing the FREE First Monday concerts in 1986. CCM's first regular concert series has been pleasing audiences in person at the Chicago Cultural Center and live on WFMT with programs of chamber music from Baroque to modern day favorites.
